FRAME

Perfection is a text-based painting inspired by Salvador Dalí’s famous idea: “Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it.” The work turns that quote into a raw visual reminder that perfection is not the goal. The goal is movement, expression, and the courage to create before everything feels ready.

The black background gives the piece a heavy, almost void-like presence, while the white handwritten text cuts through it like a warning, a confession, and a challenge. The imperfect lettering becomes the point of the work. It refuses polish. It refuses control. It allows the message to live exactly as it is.

Created in dialogue with Dalí’s surreal legacy, Perfection speaks to the artist’s ongoing battle with expectation. It reminds the viewer that chasing perfection can become its own trap, and that the most honest work often begins where perfection fails.

PACKAGING

Every order includes the frame, a leather case, a Maison Marcel presentation box, an outer protective box, a microfiber cloth, authenticity card, certificate of provenance, and the printed care booklet.

CARE

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each frame begins with Italian cellulose acetate, shaped and polished by hand in Modena. Artisans refine every line until the form feels inevitable. Precision replaces speed, and every gesture preserves intention.
