MUSE “The Angel” is a singular wearable sculpture by Marcel Katz, defined by a luminous white frame, warm gold-toned lenses and sculptural cat-eye geometry. Its lifted silhouette extends into angular temples accented with textured triangular gold-tone details that catch and reflect light across the surface.

The piece developed from Marcel Katz’s personal artistic exploration following time spent at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach. Pearlescent white surfaces and warm metallic tones give the frame a bright, almost architectural presence, while the visible rivets, hinges and hand-finished markings preserve the physical character of the object.

Created as an Edition of 1, The Angel is the only pair produced in this white-on-gold colorway. Interior markings identify the work as 1/1 and include MUSE, MARCEL and MADE IN ITALY, establishing it as an individual object within the Maison Marcel archive rather than a repeatable production model.

Every order includes the frame, a leather case, a Maison Marcel presentation box, an outer protective box, a microfiber cloth, authenticity card, certificate of provenance, and the printed care booklet.

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.

Each frame begins with Italian cellulose acetate, shaped and polished by hand in Modena. Artisans refine every line until the form feels inevitable. Precision replaces speed, and every gesture preserves intention.
