MUSE BLACK explores the cat-eye as a sculptural form. Its polished black silhouette rises at the outer corners, while angular temples and silver-toned textured accents extend the composition into profile. Light catches the edges, revealing the frame’s changing planes.

Imagined in Miami and handcrafted in Modena, Italy, MUSE belongs to Maison Marcel’s exploration of eyewear as wearable sculpture under the artistic direction of Marcel Katz, The Art Plug. Its character emerges through the relationship between silhouette, surface and detail.

Two lens treatments offer different expressions of the same frame. Brown Gradient introduces a soft warmth and a gradual shift in tint. Black gives the silhouette a darker, more uniform presence. The frame color, form and detailing remain consistent across both options.

Each lens treatment is limited to 20 pieces worldwide. Brown Gradient is limited to 20 pieces, and Black is limited to 20 pieces, creating a complete production of 40 works worldwide. Once completed, these lens editions will not be reproduced in this configuration.

Every order includes the frame, a leather case, a Maison Marcel presentation box, an outer protective box, a microfiber cloth, authenticity card, certificate of provenance, and the printed care booklet.

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.

Each frame begins with Italian cellulose acetate, shaped and polished by hand in Modena. Artisans refine every line until the form feels inevitable. Precision replaces speed, and every gesture preserves intention.
