GUARDIAN NERO MARMO draws from the weight and permanence of Italian stone. Its deep black surface has a liquid, marble-like sheen that shifts subtly with light, creating depth without becoming overtly reflective.

Each frame is handcrafted in Modena, Italy from premium Italian cellulose acetate and finished with hand-painted details by Marcel Katz. Tonal variation and surface movement are inspired by natural marble veining, giving every piece a distinct finish within the edition.

Produced as an Édition d’Artiste of only three pieces worldwide, Guardian Nero Marmo is serialized, authenticated and archived as an individual work. An optional sculptural stand in patina-aged copper and nickel soldered metal allows the frame to be displayed as an object beyond its wearable function.

Every order includes the frame, a leather case, a Maison Marcel presentation box, an outer protective box, a microfiber cloth, authenticity card, certificate of provenance, and the printed care booklet.

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.

Each frame begins with Italian cellulose acetate, shaped and polished by hand in Modena. Artisans refine every line until the form feels inevitable. Precision replaces speed, and every gesture preserves intention.
