FORMICA SOLAR FLARE is a Maison Marcel × Dalí Universe wearable sculpture rendered in Napoli Yellow Italian acetate, a saturated Mediterranean tone associated with sun-warmed architecture, coastal stone and intense Southern Italian light. The result is a frame that feels luminous without relying on transparency or reflective finishes.

The FORMICA silhouette translates the ant motif into elongated sculptural temples, while Salvador Dalí’s signature is engraved on both the temple and lens. Additional Dalí quotations are engraved inside the frame and hand-painted as part of the object’s concealed interior detailing.

Crafted in October 2025 and produced as an Édition d’Artiste of 111 individually unique works, each FORMICA Solar Flare is handcrafted and hand-finished in Modena, Italy. Every piece is marked E.A., recorded within the Maison Marcel × Dalí Universe archive and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, sculptural stand and commemorative packaging.
