FORMICA is an official wearable sculpture created by Marcel Katz in collaboration with the Dalí Universe.

Inspired by Salvador Dalí’s recurring use of the ant, the frame translates its anatomy into an irregular front and elongated temples.

Each temple concludes with a spoon or fork tip, transforming familiar objects into surreal sculptural elements.

Handcrafted in Fiorano Modenese, Italy, FORMICA Off Black is made from Italian acetate with contrasting Shocking Pink details.

Salvador Dalí’s signature appears on the temple and lens.

Two Dalí quotations are engraved inside the frame:

“I don’t do drugs. I am drugs.”

“Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it.”

EDITION OF 1904

The edition honors 1904, the year Salvador Dalí was born.

Limited to 1,904 individually numbered pieces worldwide. Each work is individualy numbered.
