GUARDIAN II “Mimetico” explores the tension between camouflage and visibility. The substantial Guardian II silhouette is rendered in a camouflage-inspired tonal treatment that gives the frame a layered, adaptive character while preserving the strong architectural presence of the series.

Its heavy-duty construction reinforces the sense of endurance associated with Guardian II, while the patterned acetate introduces movement and visual variation across the surface. The result is a wearable sculpture that balances strength with subtlety, allowing the frame to shift between statement object and more restrained tonal composition depending on light and perspective.

Imagined in Miami and handcrafted in Modena, Italy, GUARDIAN II “Mimetico” was produced in an edition of 1,000 pieces worldwide. Each frame is individually serialized and registered within the Maison Marcel archive.

CARE

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.
