FORMICA NEUTRON is a Maison Marcel × Dalí Universe wearable sculpture built around a fractured blue-and-orange acetate pattern that gives the frame a sense of controlled movement. Deep ocean blue, volcanic orange and inky black break across the Italian acetate like a mosaic suspended beneath glass.
The FORMICA silhouette translates the ant motif into elongated sculptural temples, with proportions that reference Dalí’s long-legged surreal forms. Salvador Dalí’s signature is engraved on both the temple and lens, while two Dalí quotations are engraved inside the frame and hand-painted as part of the object’s interior narrative.
Produced as an Édition d’Artiste of 111 individually unique works, each FORMICA Neutron is handcrafted and hand-finished in Modena, Italy.
