SCHOLAR TORTORA NEBBIA is a study in restraint. The Scholar silhouette is rendered in a green-grey taupe Italian acetate that recalls morning fog over stone, creating a frame that feels quiet in color but substantial in presence.

Each piece is handcrafted in Modena, Italy and finished with hand-painted details by Marcel Katz. Tonal shifts and subtle irregularities are intentionally preserved rather than corrected, giving every frame an individual surface character that cannot be duplicated.

Produced as an Édition d’Artiste of only three pieces worldwide, Scholar Tortora Nebbia is individually serialized, authenticated and registered within the Maison Marcel archive. An optional sculptural stand in patina-aged copper and nickel soldered metal allows the piece to be presented as a gallery object beyond its wearable function.

Every order includes the frame, a leather case, a Maison Marcel presentation box, an outer protective box, a microfiber cloth, authenticity card, certificate of provenance, and the printed care booklet.

A care booklet is included with every order. Clean the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth. Store your frame in its leather case when not in use. Keep it away from heat, alcohol-based products, and salt water. Treat it as you would a collectible object.

Each frame begins with Italian cellulose acetate, shaped and polished by hand in Modena. Artisans refine every line until the form feels inevitable. Precision replaces speed, and every gesture preserves intention.
