GUARDIAN “Skeleton Gravel” is a study in transparency, structure and restraint. The Guardian I silhouette is rendered in translucent acetate, allowing the internal construction and visible nose bridge to become part of the design rather than disappear beneath the surface.

The frame’s lightweight architecture creates a dialogue between form and absence, giving the piece a more exposed, mechanical character while maintaining the substantial geometry associated with Guardian. The result is a wearable sculpture that balances visual clarity with long-wear comfort.

Conceived in Miami and handcrafted in Modena, Italy, Skeleton Gravel was produced in an edition of 150 pieces worldwide. Each frame was individually engraved, numbered and accompanied by archival documentation, preserving the work within the Maison Marcel archive as a limited study in transparency and precision.
