"Napolean Abduction"

Regular price $1,550

Description

UFO Abduction turns the classic phrase “Take me to your leader” into a surreal question about power, control, and who we choose to follow. The UFO hovers over the gold surface like a strange visitor, while the handwritten words feel urgent, funny, and slightly threatening.

The piece plays with Napoleon as an invisible reference point. Instead of showing the leader directly, the work asks where leadership comes from, who gets remembered, and what happens when ambition becomes mythology. The abduction becomes symbolic: a beam pulling the viewer toward authority, history, and the strange desire to be chosen by something larger than life.

At the same time, the text on the side adds vulnerability: “If you won’t abduct me, then who will?” It turns the alien encounter into something more personal. The work becomes less about science fiction and more about recognition, wanting to be seen, taken, elevated, or rescued. It is humorous, raw, and cinematic, connecting Cannes, fantasy, empire, and the human need to be noticed.
